Advantages of Polynaphthalene Sulfonate (PNS)
High water reduction rate. When the water-cement ratio is constant, the initial slump of concrete can be increased by more than 10cm, and the water reduction rate of sulphonated naphthalene formaldehydecan reach up to 15-25%. More importantly, when the strength and slump are basically the same, it can also reduce the amount of cement used by 10-25%.
Good enhancement. PNS has obvious early strength and enhancement effect on concrete, and the strength increase range is 20-60%.

Uses of Cheng Sodium Lignosulfonate
(1) Sodium Lignosulfonate in Concrete. As a kind of common water reducing admixtures, it can be compounded with high range water reducing admixture (such as PNS). Besides, this product is also used as an ideal pumping agent. As a water reducer, the recommended amount (by weight) of sodium lignosulfonate in concrete cement is about 0.2% to 0.6%. We should determine the optimum amount by experiment. However, the amount of sodium lignin sulfonate must be strictly controlled. If the effect is not obvious, it will affect the early strength of the concrete. When the temperature is lower than 5 °C, it is not suitable for concrete engineering alone.

Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)
Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC) is an odorless, non-toxic white powder. After fully dissolved in water, it will form a transparent viscous solution. It is a non-ionic cellulose ether made from natural polymer materials through a series of chemical processing. It has the characteristics of thickening, adhesion, dispersion, emulsification, film formation, suspension, adsorption, gelation, surface activity, retention of moisture and protection of colloids.
Features of Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (HPMC)
Water solubility and thickening ability: it can soluble in cold water, and form a transparent viscous solution.
Dissolution in organic solvents: Because it contains a certain amount of hydrophobic methoxy groups, this product can be dissolved in some organic solvents.
PH value stability: The viscosity of HPMC’s aqueous solution is relatively stable in the range of PH value 3.0-11.0.
